I can't put a finger on why I was so obsessed with the trappings of the holiday season this year. I couldn't get my tree up fast enough (though I did wait until after Thanksgiving as any sane person should), and as I adorned my little white tree with ornaments I thought about how they'd be heirlooms someday. Likewise, I was as giddy as a child when the first significant snow fell right in time for Christmas.
Eileen and Sean's wintery wedding was the pinnacle of the entire season, like a steaming hot cup of cocoa after coming in from the snow. Vintage furs collected and borrowed adorned the shoulders of all of the ladies, and we were lucky enough to dance with the snowflakes as we braved the cold but magical streets around Public Square. The absolute highlight of the day was when I was taking portraits of Eileen and Sean and asked them to kiss. As their lips met, the entirety of Public Square lit up in full holiday regalia. I let out a squeal that could most likely be heard from Mayfield to Avon. Seriously, the bridesmaids can attest to it!
What a gorgeous day, and it couldn't have been more perfect for these sweet souls. Eileen and Sean, warmest congratulations to you!
